Fine silver pendant made from real Traveller's Joy/Old Man's Beard leaf

These solid, silver pendants were created using real leaves.  The shape and texture of these leaves really caught my eye when I was doing some rare garden maintenance.  They come from a trailing plant that is known both as Traveller's Joy and Old Man's Beard.

Layer after layer of liquid clay is applied to the leaf, each layer being left to dry before the next one was applied until it is twenty layers thick.  Once dried and finished, they are fired and the leaves burn away until the remaining pendants are just pure silver.  The texture of the real leaves are beautifully captured in exquisite detail. As they are all made from individual leaves, they are all slightly different in shape which makes them all unique, and therefore slightly different to those shown in the photos.

They generally measure approx. 3.5cm long, 2.2cm wide at it's widest point.
